How can I remove Candle wax stains from a natural limestone fireplace?
The stains have been absorbed by the stone and will not come out with conventional cleaning products.
I think the stone comes from France,
( sorry can't be more specific), it is quite pale with some whitish marks in places
Place a single layer of brown paper bag over the wax and iron it. The brown paper bag will absorb the wax. You will see the bag turn dark brown as it absorbs the wax. After all the wax is removed use a degreeser cleaner and rinse well.
