How much do digital scrapbookers get paid?
I want to know how much digital scrapbookers get paid to make kits. Some websites buy the rights to the kit then sell it. And some website earn part of the money from sold kits, and the other part goes to the designer. First of all i would like to know how much the designer makes in either circumstance. Then which way would you prefer to be paid? I am trying to make a business plan and need some realistic numbers but i have no idea. I am wanting to start a digital scrapbooking online business, just selling kits. What do you think? Thanks for your help and any input you leave.Oh ya how what would the best way to find designers be?

Scrapbooking is big business and digital scrapbooking is becoming much more popular.
Loads of people love digital scrapbooking kits. Some of them are free but many of them do cost money. I suggest you search some digital scrapbooking sites to get an idea of what people are paying for their kits. The number of elements in the kits would make a difference, and it would also make a difference if you were only selling your kits as DVDs or as downloads.You would need to factor in the cost involved in making the kits, then add a mark-up of, say, 20 - 30%, though it may not be that high for a download.
